This is a piece of crud sticker I purchased on eBay (from eBay user reprintstudios) to show the difference between ACTUAL Eddie/Quiksilver sticker and FAKE stickers.
Check out this fake. The red blobs on the right are supposed to be the Hawaiian Islands. Riiiighhht. They are image-editing software blobs. Who knew The Big Island had a giant hole in the middle? Oh, maybe it's a volcano. The REAL sticker has no hole, and the islands are recognizable. Also, Quiksilver stickers usually have about a 32nd of an inch of the backing paper showing around the edges. This FAKE sticker has black vinyl all the way to the cut edge.
Also note that the images are slightly blurry, and that the Quiksilver logo is not it's usual red, but is a dark pink.
GRRRRRRRRR. I hate fakes.
This one is not for sale, I just put a ridiculous dollar amount on it (it's actually worth NEGATIVE dollars) so it would stay put in the lineup and you can see the issues with the fake Eddie stickers.
Be careful. Be authentic.
